Good Morning to all, and Happy Independence Day.
There are also sure to be courtroom fireworks as the State gives it rebuttal and the case is expected to be sent to the jury.
Court is starting early today at 8:30 a.m.
The countdown for justice for Caylee begins.
The other thing I noticed is how Casey would smile and even beam a little when George was talking about her and not Caylee.
Towards the beginning somewhere, George was talking about Caylee's birthday and how they just wanted her home for the big party they were now going to have. Casey kept turning it around to her trying to get out of jail and get home. Me, me, me....
Wow- the things I’m learning- yikes.
What’s the link for that? That is one creepy looking drawing..
Oh geez! that picture sure explains why Casey would look up “neck breaking” on the computer.
exactly, they really should have drug out every scumbag she was sleeping around with. Really make her out to be the hosebag she really was.
Exactly.
I have often wondered what the real psychiatric diagnosis would be for this woman. I’m familiar with some of the possibilites but one that includes believing your own lies has to be probable. A storyteller who becomes the story and other reality is blocked. I wonder at what point in her pathology she is now..
wowser......if he expected to be debating pros and cons endlessly, he would have dressed for comfort.
Here is a link.
Check out the picture of Caylee “sleeping” sitting up.
I have long said "bad seed" is too simple. Like all dysfunctional families, everyone has a role. Casey did not happen in a vacuum as evidenced by this snippet. Interviewed by detectives, Lee is describing what Cindy did when she opened Casey's wallet the night of the 911 calls.
=============================
LEE:
Uhm, she [Police Officer] did leave and come back inside, just her again. And when my mother at that point had opened up my sister's wallet, she had actually already opened up my sister's wallet because she was looking through the contents of this large wallet, saw unfolded, it had to be a minimum of a hundred and forty, maybe as much as two hundred dollars just from seeing the number of bills, straight twenty dollars bills that were taken out. And the reason why I know the officer wasn't in there is because my mom grabbed the money and goes, and, and put it in her pocket. And no one else was in there.
Detective:
She's just stealing her money back from the girl that stole it.
Lee:
Exactly (laughs). Exactly. And I think they even uh, made a comment to that extent.
[snip]
Detective:
She looked like it's probably mine anyway.
Lee:
Exactly.
=====================
Lee then goes on to describe Cindy's anger upon finding her JC Penny card. File under "Pot Meet Kettle"
she pondered that? let her experience it. that is sick, considering where she sits now.
Holy CRAP!
Thank you, Guen. I’ve got my ear to the tv and am trying to clear my work plate for a possible evening of heavy FReeping. I also think it could come down by the end of the day. Just a feeling.
Re: OJ verdict...I was in a mall department store, second floor, with appliances all around - TVs included. When it was time for the verdict to be read, there were 9-10 people standing around a TV, all were African-American, except for me and one other. When the verdict was read, all of the A-A’s started jumping up and down, cheering, and just going giddy wild. It truly was an amazing scene, to be sure, and one that I’ll never forget.
Hope you had a good 4th, GF!
IS your head spinning yet?
Very busy ... missed closing arguments.
Hope you had a good 4th, too, GF!
I'm even beginning to doubt whether George really was the one that drained their account.
I know he confessed to falling for an internet scam or to gambling away the money but was he really covering up for Casey?

Found this in the comments of Caylee throwing a tantrum, maybe, before the “sleeping” pic. Frightening.
