The Hartland-Lakeside district now stands to lose that money because the School Board voted Thursday to drop WEA Trust. But by switching to United HealthCare, the district still expects to save $690,000 in the new fiscal year, which started Friday, Schilling said.

“If WEA Trust is a nonprofit, why are they so expensive?” Schilling added.

Because they have union employees? They need the extra cash to shovel to the dems? I dunno, its in there somewhere.

Some of the districts that stayed with them did so after they offered to meet any better rate the district could get from another vendor, so I’m guessing those inflated rates weren’t tied to any fixed costs.

It’s all a big money laundromat.

The unions control “affilated” health care companies, dental companies, eyeglasses, and all manner of subsidiaries who handle union work for exhorbitant fees, a portion of which gets funneled back to the unions who then dole it out to Democrat party political interests....Those would be the Democrat party political interests who negotiated the generous union contract in the first place.

See how it works?
