Good morning to all.
I thought I would get this thread up bright and early so I could concentrate on work until the trial begins. I believe it starts at 9:00 a.m. today.
The State is presenting its important rebuttal case, which will include two Gentiva representatives, one of which will likely be a custodian of records. That person would need to authenticate Cindy's time sheets, which were subpoenaed. The State plans to admit that evidence to impeach her testimony that it was she, and not Casey, who did the computer searches on chloroform. The chloroform searches go directly to premeditation, a critical element in a death penalty case.
I understand that closing arguments will be heard Saturday (tomorrow) and then the jury will "get deliberated." (I love saying that!)
Time to put on a big pot of coffee...
I think the Cadaver Dog evidence should be thrown out if Nancy Grace had ever been near the area.

I'm trying to imagine why anyone, other than a writer or a performer, would need an alias.

The note they read where George says he contacted her daughter, her security, and her “husband” and signed it George and Cindy tells me he wasn’t having an affair.

There has already been one State witness who took the 5th. And now another..Cindy might take the 5th in rebuttal. 2 State witnesses already taking the 5th if she does. If George is called again he might too. I think it is a big mistake for Ashton to have a rebuttal case. The idiot Judge who claims he wants the trial to be over should have denied him. But Nooooo. It should be obvious how prejudiced he is.

Good point about Mason not being able to resign the case at this late stage. Meanwhile- he WAS the one who asked for the competency eval- and it wasn’t frivolous or Perry wouldn’t have allowed it...I am more curious about what prompted that than almost anything.
Baez is a nightmare- I can’t imagine who his clients will be after this trial.
Ashton said he would have a rebuttal case days ago, I believe right after Cindy lied on the stand. Despite what some casey lovers want to claim, he didn't shake and cower in fear from the great and mighty baez - it was to prove cindy was lying and casey made those searches
Yes I listen and when Ashton says anything I doubt it. This can turn in to a whole new trial. Baez can re-rebut and Ashton Re-re-re Rebut. They are Butt Heads Butting Heads. The Jury should walk in to the jury room then walk back out with Not Guilty on all counts due to insanity of the court and go home.
Point taken! lol I’d love to see a “Jail” episode of this pansy locked up with local thugs. lol I doubt he would be flashing the finger at anyone.
I never said he was having an affair. That he signed it George and Cindy Anthony indicates Cindy might well have known and known of River Cruz. Anything Cindy is involved with is immediately suspect in my mind and she has tarnished and tried to tarnish a lot of evidence in this case so why not think of her as trying to find “a nanny” where ever she possibly could?

..but Perry held to the law and I say MORE POWER TO HIM!
It's a good thing I don't live an hour away or I'd probably try to be over there every day to get it. My house is already a mess, I hope the trial is over soon.
