I taught two students this morning.
One is a very gifted 17 yr old Singer/Songwriter/guitarist. He is taking voice and songwriting from me. We had a wonderful lesson, and like me, he is very upset about the end of the Space Program. We had a nice talk about that, and about music, even though there are 40 YEARS between us. I can’t tell you how good that makes me feel.

Glad to hear lessons went well. It is always nice to have a student who is talented, interested in learning, and fun to talk to. It makes teaching them easier.

I'm sure it is nice to find young people who like have interesting conversations with their elders. So many young people today...well...they just...are different. A lot of them are not even capable of having intelligent discussions on many important topics. So many of them are just....so shallow (at least some of the ones I've met) Finding youth who are smart, who have depth, and have no problem communicating with people of all age levels is really nice.
