Sorry, but going along with a blatantly bad call "just because" is dishonest. Too bad I'm advocating honesty . . . instead of the "get away with it" mentality in sports and government. I'm not sure where the "life's lesson" and character building is taught in my example of looking the other way.
JoePa is no icon in my book. It's quite obvious that the obscene corruption of the NCAA does not stop at JoePa, but please don't hold him up as an icon of nobility.
