“For Your Eyes Only” is probably my favorites Bond flicks. No supervillians, just Bond against the Soviets, or their proxies. A great supporting cast, and some great quotable lines:
“How deep is the water?”
“Not. deep. enough!”
Bond: “Forgive me father, for I have sinned.”
Q: “That’s putting it mildly, 007!”
“you have what we Greeks call brassos, GUTS!

I don’t recall from which story, but in one of Fleming’s books he noted that Bond in his off-time was writing a book. Moore’s version of Bond never allowed me to believe he could even read a book, much less write one.
