You know, on one hand I didn’t either. It’s unattractive and something nice people do say or do.
OTOH, it’s an efficient reminder to people who often forget that a condom does NOT protect against everything. Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas.

(I miss my friends, bagels, and the NYC skyline - but not the taxes. I love the South.)

The ‘unattractive’ term didn’t ring true with me either. I thought he was one of the better looking politicians.
What is it they say? “Politics is show business for ugly people.” Well Lindsay was good looking enough for “real show business.”

“Now Lindsay has been called many thing, but physically “unattractive” has never been one of them.”
That’s what I was going to say. He was very good looking. Now I’m wondering if they are talking about another person!

He was always a very good looking man, so the word "unattractive", attached to him, makes me wonder if this story is even true.
He was never what one would call "conservative", but once he was mayor, he went completely bonkers and turned into a rabid, raving LIBERAL, with many of his old friends bewildered and angry.

I hired her in the mid 80's along with Vanna White for a business show in NY.
Think I paid $12,000 to the agency for both for three days. Both did real good for us.

Yes, he could have been in show business, had he had a yen for it; his looks were that good!
That line about her "giving in to her better nature" is also absurd!
And why was he in L.A. at the time he was mayor? If it was when he was in the House, that makes even less sense! Why was he there alone?
This whole thing is crazy;not to mention disgusting!

For shame, Mrs. Brady!
When I was a kid, we used to call radio stations and request weird songs.
One of the ones we used to request was Florence Henderson singing "Wessonality."

She’s 77. Starting to feel the Maker coming on.
The 60’s will be viewed as one of the most evil times in the world.

This whole story doesn't ring true at all, as far as I'm concerned!
As I said, I knew him, at this time and there's something really, really, REALLY wrong about everything written in this article and book; if the book is being quoted correctly.

But the 60's music was great:
1. Respect - Aretha Franklin
2. Louie Louie - Kingsmen
3. I Heard It Through The Grapevine - Marvin Gaye
4. (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - Rolling Stones
5. Like A Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan
6. Hey Jude - Beatles
7. Good Vibrations - Beach Boys
8. You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' - Righteous Brothers
9. My Girl - Temptations
10. Light My Fire - Doors

Agree 100%. These memoirs are just disgusting. I want to know about Florence Henderson’s peccadilloes about as much as I want to know about the gays’ sexual orientation. Keep it to yourselves, thank you.

I met him at an embassy reception in Jeddah years ago. I thought he looked rather distinguished. Until he started digging at his crotch...
