A special gathering of like minded conservative individuals will have a picnic on July 23 at the Dixon Property.
A few famous souls might be brave enough to gather around a campfire and spin a few tales. With camera in hand we hope the famous photographer Elsie of Indiana will be able to leave his goat herd long enough to join in the festivities.
On July 24 we will celebrate the morning in silence as we enjoy a rendering or two of In the Garden to honor one of our famous guests.
The famous western entertainer Robin Arnold will join us for the afternoon and evening campfire and also for the Sunrise Services
All in all it should be a wonderful time and a good chance to see the faces of folks we have all known for years.
And there will be Mormon Muffins and Thunderbird Coffee on Sunday morning.
Picnic Ping
FYI
New Ping
Guest speaker will be ex Utah Governor Huntsman. LOL
Now I am ducking to keep from getting hit by flying shoes.
Great! See you there! Thanks!
But he’s so sweet. Maybe we can get him to tell us again how much he loves Obambi. And no, he’s not going to be here. That prick has his headquarters in the east.
Hear Hear!!!
Come on, he is civil, and nice, and all that.
Dang, I wish I lived closer! I hope all of you have a wonderful time! Good thoughts your way for fabulous weather!
The weather is always iffy in July with the southwest monsoons. Wish you could be here. Jim Rob has asked that we have special music on Sunday morning.
I have the strong feeling that you are going to have a ball! Perhaps you could post later with some fun stories and a recap for those of us not able to attend?! Nothing too personal.. just a description. I am totally envious!
I will try to get a few images posted during the afternoon and later. Certainly the Sunday morning things will be put up.
Where do you live?
(Unfortunately), we live in the Republik of Maryland. I will be happy as a clam to see some of the images. I am surprised that you don’t ask people to bring a dessert or something? I know some of our FReepers are fabulous cooks!
Dang it! I’d love to attend but can’t.
I sure envy all who are able to get there.
Good luck, have fun and stay safe.
You know, I was going to ask about Mormon Muffins... I didn’t have the guts! I have a feeing if you let all the single male Fr’s that Elsie is going to the picnic with muffins... you will have a stampede!
I am just teasing elsie. The local Mormon ladies have all agreed to make some bread and muffins for Sunday morning as they love some of our programs here at the History Museum.
Sounds like you are going to get some great bread and muffins! When ladies know other people are going to be eating their baked goods, they tend to make the best food you ever ate!
