Mine was fire-engine red, spoiler on the back and T-tops. It was the hottest thing around and it sounded as mean as it looked.
I had a love affair with that car. Waxed it almost every weekend. I mean if someone tried to sit on it (they didn’t dare) they would have slid to the ground. Bought special covers for it so when I wasn’t driving it, it would be ‘protected’ LOL! sheesh.... I guess youth is truly wasted on the young.
A cop pulled me over one nite (was doing 75 in a 30 stretch on a county road). He loved the car and I managed to ‘talk’ my way out. *sigh*

I was doing 89 (clocked by HP) on a narrow bridge and up the following curved hill, when I was stopped. He asked me if I knew how fast I was going and I had to laugh, “Not a clue...” I said. My stellar driving record saved me from a ticket, thank the Lord. ;-D I was in scrubs, had my name tag on a lanyard, and the tunes cranked up, on my way to work at the ER.
Oh, that road was fun. Very twisty two-lane country hway, I should probably be dead.
