About 25 years ago I was in my IROC z28 traveling down I44 and some punks decided to do the same thing to me even though they could have simply passed in the passing lane.
I was caught between the concrete guardrail and heavy traffic in the passing lane. Damn near caused a fatal crash as I had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting the jerks.
I was calm but my friend left a mess in the passenger seat.
Anyway, it happens.

After reading several more accounts of this accident, I am getting more suspicious, she passed the other car (a mystery car), because he was going too slow, and then he passes her and brakes, she panics and hits the guard rail and flips several times, it sounds like she was just flying along at a high speed, and she wasn’t wearing her seat belt, the 30 year dog groomer was coming home from dinner with friends.
The police don’t seem to have anything else to say, and they don’t seem to be offering any more details on the mystery car.
I often heard them called "Chick Cars," but they were pretty impressive.
