Compare how much was spent on those programs in say 1967 with the amounts spent now, after the boomers started voting.

This is ironic, because the baby boomers are largely responsible for the growth of the many government programs that will result in their early deaths.

Check your facts.

The other Texas president, LBJ, and his socialist "Great Society" programs, Medicare, Medicaid, environmental protection, aid to education, and his "War on Poverty...

LBJ was born in 1908.

Compare how much was spent on those programs in say 1967 with the amounts spent now, after the boomers started voting.

Most boomers were not of voting age in 1964 when LJB, born in 1908, implemented his "Great Society" socialist programs...

Fact is, these socialist programs were "kicked off" by the so-called, "Great generation:.

BTW, speaking of spending and cost, everything is relative, since the dollar became incrementally worthless each year...Look at a loaf of bread or gallon of gas now, as opposed to 1964...

Well for one thing the population has been increased. In particular the country since Teddy's 'immigration reform' in 1968 has been flooded with illegal aliens, anchor babies, legal immigrants, and their kith and kin.

Illegals currently cost us taxpayers NET $1/4 - $1/3 trillion per year. Low skill immigrants cost ~$20,000 per household per year.

Political correctness has turned the US into the HR and welfare department of the world.
