As a “Seasoned” BMW rider, my knees (and the rest of me) are carefully protected in Armor rather than being in the breeze as they should be. Sigh ....... I oftentimes joked with my Harley buddies and Goldwing riders that I needed to change bike so I could also ride in shorts and flip-flops.
But, as a crazy BMW rider, I tend toward protective devices for all body parts. {[8^ )

Will keep doing videos and submitting the most clever to Pookie for possible admission to the Daily Toons. BTW, I also think one term is too much, but didn’t want to spook the Black Helicopters.

Cheers,

You don’t like burning your legs on the 180 cylinder heads? Aw, gee.

"knees in the breeze" is an allusion to seating position, not lack of protective clothing.

I wear full leathers even on this 250cc powerhouse < BG >which is my commuter/daily driver.

I am hoping to get this 1984 Amazonas ready to ride in the next few weeks, though it hasn't seen the road since 1996.

Mine is identical but for the red stripe, and I have a half-fairing over the headlight
