I was going to attend, but I had the Intergalactic Federation meeting that same week. Damn.
You know, despite all the wild and crazy tinfoil tales, it actually is an organization that meets in various locales across the world, pretty high security deal, fairly secretive. Most of your political movers and shakers go, as do most putative captains of business and industry. Of late it’s getting a little competition from Davos as far as the draw and drawing suspicion as well, but it’s a going concern.
I don’t know about all the tales, maybe it’s spun completely over the top to discredit any suspicion, but I don’t particularly admire or like worldwide, unelected bodies deigning to determine the direction we’ll take in the future. Do you?
