I live in the area, and take the 322 bypass at least three times a week. People pretty routinely do 70 in areas posted 35 or 45; Bam and his crew were/are also notorious for driving like banshees all around the back roads in the WC area. It’s a dangerous road. There are fatalities there all the time between speeders and kamikaze deer.
It looks far less dangerous than a lot of the road we have here in southwestern Pennsylvania. Between the hills, hairpin curves, potholes, lack of shoulders and wildlife, I swear we're the road kill capital of the nation.
But it looks like SE Pennsylvania has us beat in the concentration of dumb asses.
Lately, the cops have been cracking down around here big time. Most of them are unmarked cars. Ironically, most of the tickets I see being written are on the few places where the roads are decent and there are actually places to pull over without putting yourself or the arresting officer at risk.
