When was the last time you saw band members playing their own insturments, or even using session musicians?
I don’t do the “stadium” live shows anymore. There are too many small venues and listening rooms around me that charge nothing to $20 for fairly good music. These places are so intimate the musicians can’t get away with faking it. Last one I paid for, the group used four string musicians on top of the regular band. Totally crowded stage, amazing sound.
