He reminds me of Perot. He would rather his following and himself, fall on their swords and ruin our chances of winning back the white house, simply out of spite that he can never win.

With his following he could be a kingmaker.

He could choose a candidate, announce he was supporting them, and say that he’s going to try to get some assurances on policy decisions.

In the 08 race, Duncan Hunter was my chosen candidate. When he dropped out he threw his support to the Huckster. I would have voted for Huckabee over McCain if my primary hadn’t already passed. By the time Hunter dropped out, all that was left was McCain, Huckabee, and Paul. He said Huckabee was closest to his own positions and John McCain had broken too mant promises.
