Your pedantic nature precludes your understanding of the conversation here. Nobody is making a charge; someone is trying to figure out why the cadet might have been expelled for an honor violation. It’s a legitimate exercise in speculation.
It seems logical from the chain of events that the honor violation may have been connected to the airport incident. This is an acceptable inference in the real world. The honor code says that a cadet will not lie, cheat or steal, nor tolerate one who does. Stealing and cheating seem unrelated to the airport incident. Ergo, the educated guess. But still a guess. That’s all he said.
