Haven’t we seen this before in a horror movie set on an island somewhere?

Chinese scientists can, and do, claim to have accomplished any scientific feats they want to claim.
After all, there is no way to verify that any of it is true.
What we can verify is that the Chinese government will stop at nothing to siphon off scientific research from other countries and yet has exported nothing that demonstrates any of the revolutionary science they claim to be generating.
