I was sitting here yesterday, with the dog at my feet, when that boy (now a strapping 2 year old) came up and was trying to get my attention. He put his foot on Swiper’s rear and bosted himself up into my lap. The dog never batted an eyelash...He stayed perfectly still so as to be a more effective step-stool.
I am so lucky to have him.
