“I will always believe in God, not man’s interpretation of what God requires. “
/// i’m honestly mystified here. He’s saying that Jews for thousands of years have misunderstood the Torah? but HE knows what God requires?

...besides, i’m not even Jewish. but i did research for my son, about increased cancer risks, etc., and chose to have it done. but Crowe calls me an unattentive barbaric parent?

yet i’ll wager Crowe supports teenage abortion... without even INFORMING the “inattentive” parents...

There is no higher risk of cancer. I will tell you a simple way to find out. If you think that the rate of cancer should increase or a specific type of cancer because of a child not being circumcised, then all you have to look at is the cancer statistics between a country that practices circumcision and one that doesnt. You will proobably find that there is no difference. Example, on the issue of penile cancer, a study done on japan sweden and norway shows that the incidence of penile cancer was the same as the United States, the difference being that those latter countries have extrmeely low circumcision rates, while we fluctuate between like 50 and 70 or something. You would expect there to be a difference if not being circumcised was a driving force. Its about 1 per 100,000 per year.

All that your child will need to do is clean himself, which is normal, no? It started becoming popular because crackpot doctors were linking it to, hernia, kidney stones, bladder infections, insomnia, epilepsy, asthma, INSANITY, syphilis, bright’s disease. The problem with following ancient peoples advice is that they are, more often than not, wrong.. For example a study in 2006 actually showed circumsized men are actually at lower risk of contracting syphilis.

In any case, I dont think I will be circumcising my children as I do not have any religious obligations to do so. Id bet that most Evangelicals do it because they want to be Jewish. Sorry I cant but help taking a jab.
