No wonder “evil with a president’s face” wants to split Jerusalem.
Well, it’s already “a giant mosque,” but it still would be really interesting to see if there’s anything under there someday that could give a notion of the architecture of the second Temple.
No sane person, however, wants to do away with the mosque or re-build a Temple. We’ve sort of moved past animal sacrifice as a form of worship.
This is one mosque I am confident will not stand.
Only a small segment of Christians, i.e., the millennialists, believe that last part, "a site that will play a key role in the last days."
It did (past tense) "play a key role in the last days," when the temple was destroyed in A.D. 70, thus fulfilling Jesus' prophecy. But that's it.
Jerusalem is never mentioned in the Qu'ran and Muhammed never went there. Ever.
