We’ve used young ladies from church, usually a couple of sisters. We’ve also let it be known at church that we’ll be gone on x day until y day and if anyone has visiting family they can use our place. We’ve also had young marrieds from church house sit. The only thing we’ve ever lost is one parakeet which the young married’s dog ate. They were horrified but it was an old well used parakeet.
