I agree, horrible movie. It’s amazing that you went out with him a second time.
Like most Kubrick films it was very memorable and very well done. However, like many films of the past 45 years, it was the content that was horrible. I saw Taxi Driver for the first time a few weeks ago. What a great looking film. Too bad the content was utterly repulsive.
