I’m really surprised that this happened in Austin, of all places. They’ve never really seemed to care about stuff like that before.

Yeah, I lived in Austin in the early ‘70s - 80s and it was a great city to be in. I lived downtown on Congress Ave.

Been gone for more than 20yrs now, and my friends tell me, too many folks from CA moved there. They say it will be the SanFran of the south soon.

Go figure. CA freaks strike again.

I'll never move back to Austin. However, Shiner though, is another story.
