Apparently, the town of Skookumchuck, BC exists and has a population of only 66. It is absent from many detailed maps of the province.

However, the "Change of Name" document posted on the German site looks as phony as the Hawaii COLBs posted on the Daily Kos and FighttheSmears.com, etc. It contains no other identifying info at all other than Skookumchuck, BC as the place of residence. If it pertains to the current occupant of the White House, why would he get his name change at age 11, and then have the provincial government print out a "short form" affirming that name change at age 21?

BTW, according to what I can discern, "Ubayd" is an extremely uncommon surname in the Arabic-speaking world. There is only one telephone listing under that surname in the entire United States. "Ubayd is much more commonly a given name; it's the equivalent of the first part of "Abdullah."

I agree...it looks like bunkum. But there is a town by the name of Abayd on the coast of the Red Sea, not far from Mecca. And the name is also written as Ubaid or Ubayed...you know how it is with arabic names...

I doubt if the whole thing is worth pursuing. Pidgeon has zero at the Lumumba University in Moscow, a little research would have shown him that Roman Obama now lives in Accra, Ghana.

FYI having just come back from that part of British Columbia, I can tell you that I lived not far from Skookumchuk and on a bad day you could smell Skookumchuk and it wasn’t pretty! The main industry in the town was the source of the population, not the town’s population! Skookumchuk is a pulp and paper mill owned by a Japanese consortium Tembec Industries, but during the time Attorney Pidgeon is referring to it was owned by Crestbrook Forest Industries. IT WAS NEVER INVOLVED IN MINING AS HE STATES IN HIS VIDEO! The mining was from Kimberly where I lived for 14 years and where my family lived from 1929 eventhough both my grandparents were U.S. citizens. During the time Attorney Pidgeon is talking about in 1982, both Skookumchuk and it’s “cousin” the lumber plant down the road would shut down for 3 months and hire students from the College in Cranbrook to work shift work watching over things and making enough money to pay their tuition for the next year. At that time there were very very few foreign students at the College. Now the foreign students outnumber the Canadians at the College and they are all wealthy Japanese or from wealthy elite African families. Their tuition costs are three to four times that of Canadians and they willingly pay it.
This year both Canal Flats and Skookumchuk will only close for 1 1/2 weeks and then will be open 24/7 because Japan needs lumber and I imagine that some of the logs at Skookumchuk will be made into lumber to be shipped to Japan for rebuilding. When I left Cranbrook May 14th the ads in all the papers were screaming for workers for both plants, they needed to have their grade 12 and experience, but experience wasn’t necessary. I doubt any of the foreign students would take the jobs but the Canadians will since the unemployment rate in that area of B.C. is presently 10.9%. That’s your information of Skookumchuk from someone who knows and has smelt it more times that she cares to admit! Mrs Chief Engineer.
