Corsi believes Bauer "felt compelled" to resign because of the growing substance to worries that the eligibility issue will blow up into a full-scale investigation.

What a bunch of nonsense. Bauer is leaving to become general council of Obama's 2012 campaign. This is just another silly claim from Corsi and WND. This birther stuff will continue going exactly nowhere.

From the article:

But Jerome Corsi, Ph.D., who authored the "Where's the Birth Certificate?" book that debuted at No. 6 on the New York Times best-sellers list after reaching No. 1 several weeks earlier at Amazon.com, said, "I think Bauer's resignation marks the beginning of the Obama eligibility cover-up starting to unwind."

Ahh, yeah, but a quick glance shows the book has sunk to #143 on Amazon already. The further it falls, the more hysterical the claims I expect we'll hear from Corsi and Farah.

Bottom line is birther conspiracies will play absolutely no role in defeating Obama in 2012. The entire election will turn on the economy and probably very little else.

“Bottom line is birther conspiracies will play absolutely no role in defeating Obama in 2012.”

Some anti-birthers put so much faith in their crystal balls!

Just a few weeks ago anti-birthers were telling us the BC issue was dead and Obama would never feel compelled to release an image of an alleged LFBC!

No one knows what evidence and/or witnesses will come forward between now and the election.

Corsi’s publication of a purported Kenyan government investigative document concluding that the birth records at the time of Obama’s birth had most likely been criminally tampered with in Kenya is an example of allegedly new, unexpected evidence.

Prediction:
The way things are going, Obama wins in 2012 over Romney by a slim margin.
