I don’t buy Corsi’s claim that Bauer must have believed that Barky had a valid long-form Hawaiian birth certificate.
Bauer was leading up the effort from Barky’s position to keep from having to show proof of eligibility in the dozens of court proceedings. Many of these cases dealt with novel questions of constitutional standing, and I’ll bet Barky’s old buddy Larry Tribe of Harvard law school was involved and paid behind the scenes.
Waiving the ethics rule for Bauer is bullshite. If he didn’t want to be subject to the government post-employment ethical restrictions, he shouldn’t have gone into the government where we taxpayers paid his salary. He should have stayed as Barky’s or the campaign’s personal lawyer, and being paid NOT on our dime.
From the waiver of the ethics rule:
“Such a result would be inconsistent with the purposes of the Ethics Pledge, which did not contemplate the situation in which the personal lawyer to the President enters government service as an advisor to the President.”
Transparently bogus rationale. Louis XIV was a model of propriety and equal standing before the law compared to Barky and his criminal gang of Marxist thugs.
Also, Barky needs to reimburse taxpayers for the cost of the DOJ for their involvement defending these eligibility suits, because the question of eligibility arises out of matters before he took office and not his official acts.

Corsi is overstating the evidence, but he is reading the response at the White House as a panic, a panic that began when Corsi’s book hit #1 on Amazon and then got worse when Trump opened up. That panic may have been a realization by Bauer that Corsi might have more proof that Obama was born in Kenya.
Corsi is reading Bauer as needing to scamper back to an attorney-client privileged relationship with Obama regarding his eligibility, whether or not Bauer had reason to believe Obama was born in HI, IMO.
In 2006 Sen. Barak Obama sent his cousin, Raila Odinga, $1Million for Odinga’s campaign to be Kenya’s President.
Odinga lost, and promptly fomented riots, burned down churches, and murdered people.
He was given the post of Prime Minister as a concession prize.
The President of Kenya, in 2007, utilizing his intelligence service, discovered that the birth records from December 1960 to September 1961 have been altered, rifled through, and left in a disorganized state. He is not happy with this situation, which then President George Bush of the United States, had asked him check for possible birth records of Barak Obama.

The Democratic Party and its operatives will lie for Obama if he was born in Hawaii and not a natural born Citizen. But there is nothing they can do to justify a foreign national in the White house. The truth about his birth in Mombasa, Kenya, is leaking out and the Party doesn’t want to be destroyed by that knowledge.
Frankly, I think Obama will leave the Democratic Party in smoking ruins when he, Michell, MIL and the two daughter flee the country after his resignation.
