Any pizza sold by the slice and can be folded is NY or perhaps Chi Town pie. In the south we actually put on enough toppings that a fork is a necessity. If I wanted to fold it I would go buy a Tombstone pizza from WalMart.
The NY pizza is as close as it gets to the original pizza - created in Naples. The southern Italians who settled in NY brought the pizza with them. It bears no relationship with a frozen pizza found in a Wal Mart. Can we drop the silly NY bashing for one moment?
