I think we might just have a new dining fad taking hold across the Country, and it did NOT start on the left coast. I predict that MORE people will be enjoying their pizza with a knife and fork, just to make a statement. I have always used a K & F for the first half of the slice. After that I sometimes pick it up and eat the rest, including the edge of the crust. GO SARAH!
It most likely is nothing more than a technique to avoid the Pizza in the mouth with cheese dripping over your chin Kodak moment.
