I recall he was involved with anti-war protests with Code Pink that involved literally spitting at some Gold Star moms (moms who lost children in the war). I cannot imagine what it would take to stoop that low, and yet Kokesh was endorsed by Ron Paul and I have yet to hear whether Paul has repudiated his association with Kokesh. Judge Napolitano was also a big Kokesh fan, and I am unaware of any change there either. It was the (L)ibertarian group-think that holds these associations together, I believe. And it can be ever so strong. I have been treated badly by liberals in some contexts, but the single most vitriolic thrashing I ever got was for complaining about a FB group called Liberty Candidates (I think - its late and I’m flying on naught but fumes) that had a money bomb thing that included Kokesh. You wouldn’t believe the incivility to which I was subjected for suggesting they could do better than hangin out with Kokesh. Amazing.
Campaign for Liberty. They have a website where they brag on running libertarians as Republican for office. They also have a section here at FR, or at least did the last I looked. IMO, it's highly inadvisable to associate with that group.
