I think these people have not only violated kids but public trust and should be removed from society for good.

I was in detention class (lunch time) for an unintentional playground contact (we were bouncing each other off the fence) when I was in the 8th grade. The first detention teacher was a man and not a very nice one.
The second day’s teacher was a young woman, probably French, and drop-dead gorgeous. She ate lunch with us.
Guys outside looked in the windown, saw her, and tried to get detention.
This woman was the “stuff wet dreams were made of “.

From a very young age, children are now trained to cultivate their sex lives. This wasn’t the case when I was a student in high school. We did not have a concept of ‘maintaining a normal, active sex life’ in our teens. As the students are increasingly sexualized, the teachers feel less restriction on their own comportment. I also believe these young female teachers were themselves ‘beneficiaries’ of the modern concept of active sex lives for the young when they were in high school. If, from puberty, children are never taught there are circumstances under which they should restrain their sexual urges then it’s harder to do as they get older. I know this sort of behavior has always been around but now it seems common. Remember back when Le Tourneau was in the news?
Yes, and I think a significant change is that more and more middle school or junior high boys are involved, whereas I think it was mostly older students years ago.
And for several reasons younger boys would have more difficulty keeping things unnoticed, and would probably be more likely to talk.
I don't think you can say it's purely physical. The IDEA of these young boys is what's exciting, for whatever reason. It's sure to be complicated if you dig into it, but at the same time it's very simple.
This kind of stuff has been going on for decades and forty or so years ago was not considered a crime. It was rather an ethics issue, unless of course the student was under the age of consent which was lower in many states than it is now.
A whole heck of a lot of teachers were given a letter of recommendation in exchange for a resignation. It was called “passing the trash”.
Technology....lots easier to cheat etc now
Double standard .... male teachers know it’s a huge risk to hit on a minor female. Females know young men take it as a badge of honor. Thus less risk for the female

Sounds like the girls gym teacher in high school, a tall blond, gorgeous, about 25, and I did my best to get in her pants!

Some young boys are not so insecure, just horny. They haven’t developed the repressive, domineering traits that many adult men have. It just this pure, raw virile energy with no focus. Or so I’ve been told.
Young men today are not taught discipline. They learn from all directions the morality and ethics of dogs. JMHO

and the culture and environment in college encourages casual sex and “hooking up”.
so everything in their experience, says their is nothing wrong with doing this.

I just called it like it was at the time. What constitutes a crime differs from decade to decade and from place to place. The age of consent still is different in many countries of the world. What is legal here could be a crime somewhere else and vice versa.
Basic responsibilities and desires are laughed at by today’s maturing males and females.
According to the educational system is that sex is normal but they don’t note that “control” of urges is or should be involved.
Males used to be in charge of making contact with women.
Women used to be in charge of accepting or rejecting men.
Sex is for fun. No obligations. Drugs can cure anything.
Parents have no input into a child’s morals. Only the educational system says what is acceptable and they don’t have “any” absolutes. Anything goes. Love is great. Frustration is harmful to the ego and we can’t have that can we?
