As school years go, this one has been riddled with sex scandal.
But it's not droves of male teachers who are being arrested and charged for having sex with their under-age students - it's females.

April Alexander, 26, from Irving, Texas, was last week arrested after being accused of having sex with a 16-year old student on more than 25 occasions. The teen, now 18, told police he and the biology teacher had sex on more than two dozen occasions at MacArthur High School in Irving and in Alexander's car.

Lack of moral standards?
poor taste on the lack of the male students I think. You find the occasional “I’d hit it” but most of them I wouldn’t do it even if I was drunk.

I never have understood it. Why would a healthy adult woman be into horny, insecure teen boys? While ED is not a problem for these boys, certainly it’s a purely physical relationship and certainly they are not very experienced. Maybe it’s some kind of bossy teaching fantasy?
I’m not sure if the male students would survive a night out with Laz.

It’s probably more common now, but this has gone on for decades, at least since the sixties. I think we hear so much about it now because many of the boys we hear about are much younger, not even sixteen yet. Boys that age aren’t as mobile (no driver’s license) as older boys and their parents probably make more effort to keep track of where they are.
I’d bet that quite a bit goes on between teachers and older boys that we never hear about because they are better at keeping quiet, have driver’s licenses and are probably given more freedom by parents.

Id be willing to bet that what has changed is kids are bragging about it on facebook as such.
