It sometimes amazes me that people don’t understand the simple admonition “Not in my house!” People constantly misconstrue the first amendment to mean they can say (sometimes do) anything they want, anywhere they want. That’s simply not true, and many here have noted that fact with excellent examples.

I think more often, members used the zot as the final post when they disagree with "Not in my house".

Not only the final post, but I've seen my share of first posts as well. But we still have those who want to argue their mistaken or misunderstood understanding of the first amendment, and how it affects speech in general.

In any case, I'm here precisely because we don't allow the mixture of thoughts from across the spectrum. It's a conservative site. We discuss conservative ideas, and it's a pleasure to be (well, somewhat) free of disturbing outside pressure.
