It actually makes a lot of sense. Insects are very high in protein and in this case, abundant.
That's why I am so interested. I don't know if I would be able to take the first bite but I would try, I think< if someone else fixed them who was experienced in cooking cicadas. I live in New Orleans now and I dont think I have seen one here. We eat everything in Louisiana so why not cicadas, except for the fact there are none to my knowledge here.
