I’m a little cynical just because I’ve seen what goes on in Internationl (read “European”) sports and can’t really get excited about it. But yes. Boring race. Hot euro-trash (although the Aussie and New Zealand chicks were the hottest) chicks basically prostituting themselves to rich yacht owners.

The Monaco Grand Prix is the only F1 race that routinely gets stopped because of the time limit (two hours) and not because someone actually finishes the course simply because it is sooooo sloooooow. (average speed 90 kmh = 60 mph).

Where do you get that from? Average speed is above 160 km/h / 100 mph. Look at the lap times, do the math. At a race length of 260 km it is easily finished within the two hour limit. Unless it's a wet race (with safety car phases etc.) but those reach the time limit on many if not most other tracks as well. Monaco being right on the sea may be more prone to have some showers coming down, of course.

And "soooo sloooow" is a relative term when you look at the cramped track conditions. When they scream out of the tunnel and rip through the following chicanes along the harbor, the visual impression makes it actually *look* a lot faster than a wide open high speed course. IMHO. YMMV. I found today's race very entertaining.
