Naaaa, what you really need is the M42 “Duster” with Twin 40mm guns! We had one up at Hai Von Pass, covering the “Rocket Belt” around DaNang.
Someone would spot NVA or VC setting up 122mm rockets to fire at the DaNang airbase. An airstrike would take 10 minutes, artillery about 5 minutes and even 81mm mortars would take 90 seconds to get on target.
With the Duster it was “Ready, Aim, Fire”, right NOW!
Talk about mowing down jungle, those twin 40’s would do a number on a target.

This FPS Russia kid is pretty hilarious. He has a number of similar videos out with other hardware - AKs, ARs, specialty shotgun shells, etc.
Perhaps not a safe idea, outside of an emergency, to shoot something 50ft away with an explosive round?
