We on the West Coast are becoming overrun by these violent, aggressive predators, because urbanites have banned hunting cougars with dogs (the only practical way to hunt them), on the basis of emotionalism.
No emotionalism to it. Please see my post 41. Further, you should read Little Jeremiah’s posts as well. LJ has actual life experience with these animals. And while I do not, I do live in the country where bobcats exist in areas as well as small black bears.
What is emotionalism is when someone spots a cougar that’s sleeping in a human area and over-reacts by killing it and not utilizing other methods to relocate the animal.
We are free to disagree. Apparently you’ve been threatened by them. That was not the situation in this story.
