looks like the seniors as well as the masses in NY's 26th district are all suffering from dementia as the Dem-o-rat holds the lead. The Tea Party candidate is a liberal. I guess we're looking at the new Dem stradegy for 2012

Good to see that fake tea party candidate Jack Davis is only running 8% of the vote... There’s been a lot made of that fraud around here so people knew not to vote for him.

In national elections the seniors are the most conservative, what is different there?

the Rat was just declared the winner. It seems Medi-scare commercials worked. Unbelievable!

If Repubs cannot learn to COMMUNICATE to the American people what exactly Ryan’s Medicare plan does, they will continue to be stomped into a mudhole by the fear-ridden elderly whom most simply have no utter clue and will believe the BS spewed by the fearmongering Dems. Keep with the lack of communication, Repubs, kkthxbye. =.=

Honesty seems to again be the downfall of politicians. The stupid people that they represent refuse to hear truth. It will take the default of the US debt before things change.

That's ok, by 2016 the Obamacare death panels should start reducing this demographic, but by golly they're medicare will be safe until the death panel decides its time to "old yeller" them.

The robocalls were so bad that we were getting them every 15 minutes or so. Monday my husband took the phone off the hook. Sad to say, most of them were from Jane Corwin, and I really had to hold my nose to vote for her - but I refused to do it on the Republican line.

The truth is that seniors will not give up their handouts. They are the most conservative with someone else’s handout. Touch their free money, and Katy bar the door. The big problem is that everybody has the same attitude from Left to Right. Everybody wants to go to Heaven, but nobody wants to Die. It is the same for a Tea Party member as it is for a SEIU thug. When you reach middle age, you learn that everybody is full of s**t.

You sure are off base there.

Obama won 66% of the under 30 vote, and lost the over 60 vote.

In 2008 entitlements were not the issue. They are now. So why did a Lefty win a House seat in a Republican district. Maybe seniors voted for the Leftist who would make sure the gravy train kept rolling along.

Hochul , Kathy Dem 48,530 47%
Corwin , Jane GOP 43,836 43%
Davis , Jack TEA 9,495 9%
Murphy , Ian Grn 1,130 1%

With 97% reporting, 104,000 votes counted so far. That leaves about 3,500 votes left. So 107,500 voters, Republican GOTV and dilly dalling in Congress and not taking the Democrats on seems to be the big problem here.

How did you get it in your head that seniors are the problem when it is really the young?

The foolish 8% voting for Davis made the difference in the election.
