When Gingrich Speaks, Remember Hoffman & Scozzafava
5/21/2011 | Laissez-Faire Capitalist

Gingrich rips Paul Ryan's plan, then backpedals... Gingrich backed RINO establishment candidate Scozzafava (who later withdrew and threw her support to the Democrat candidate) instead of giving his support to the independent conservative, Hoffman, back during the 2009 special election; then Gingrich backpedaled over that. Winks and nods to the Republican and Democrat establishment followed by grinning mea culpas for the benefit of conservatives. Par for the course...

Whenever he speaks, remember these two people... Gingrich showed us what he is all about.

His “position” now is basically incoherent.

We all agree. Gingrich is one of the ones who can win. Important to remind of this Dede, the Global Warming w/ Pelosi, death bed divorce, etc. People should also be reminded of Romney’s flaws. The other RINOs can be ignored, as they won’t win.

I don’t need to remember Hoffman & Scozzafava. I only need to remember Gingrinch.

I still can’t get that Pelosi global warming ad out of my head.

Don’t worry. I used to have a hard time explaining to Freepers that Newt was already beginning to betray the base in his last years under clinton.

No longer. His defenders are gone. Everyone can see it, now. He is finished. Because liberal Republicans never liked him earlier. Now nobody likes him.

When he speaks, I remember his smilingly explaining that he had the Scozzafava-Hoffman details all wrong. If he didn’t know anything, he should’ve kept his mouth shut. The same attends to his position on global ‘climate change’, too. A group called ‘Friends of Newt’ calls me on occasion. I’ve told them a few times not to bother, that I appreciate that they’re polite and solicitous in their efforts, but that following those 2 assertions, I’m not going for the Newt-is-brilliant pablum. But they still call me.

But...but... the MSM keeps bringing up Mitt, Newt and a few others as the GOP’s salvation in the 2012 election.........

Let me know when you find the perfect candidate. (Don’t get your hopes up, I’m not running.) Don’t you agree a persons overall record should be considered, not just a few ‘missteps’? Palin should announce soon!

Newt does seem to have lost the knack of making a coherent public appearance.

20 years ago he was much better and Leftwingtards were left wandering at the herds of giraffes he parade across the landscape.

He was so good at distracting his opponents with the minutiae of inconsequential nonsense they completely forgot that his message on how government should be run was bleeding through to the broad masses.

The Democrats were STARTLED at their 1994 loss that put the Republicans into power after half a century out of power.

Think about it ~ back in the days when the Leftwingtards still had control of every element of public communication, they lost to Newt and his gang of merry men.

The other day, David Gregory, a cheap partisan hack for the DNC laid a trick question on him and managed to district Newt from the real message.

Now that ain't right!

Apples to oranges argument. Mccain chose a true conservative Gingrich didn’t.

Whenever Gingrich shows his face, I see Pelosi. They are joined at the hip in my mind.

Red Herring on your part. No one is asking for a perfect candidate but being pro-establishment when conservative Hoffman is there to endorse showed us to not bother supporting Newt.
