She does. She gave about a 5-minute heartfelt speech (no teleprompters, as far as I could tell) that was just amazing. He son was there, as were her parents (and her husband, I think). They showed photos of her son when he was born in the early 1980s as she was starting on ET and all her former co-hosts were there too, except for Ron Hendrie.
