Since they are IDE drives, set the master jumper on the drive at the end of the cable, set the slave jumper on the drive at the middle of the cable. CS, or cable select jumper settings will work also. You didn't specify which flavor of windows you were using, but most work the same. Open “device manager” and delete the entries for both DVD drives. When you reboot the new hardware wizard should find and install drivers correctly.

Okay...now instead of having a problem with one CD-ROM drive, I’ve deleted both of them. Going to restart and see if the Wizard finds both of them and assigns them properly. Will let you know (if I ever make it back).
