I recently came across an update from Kel Tec on their new bullpup KSG pump shotgun that garnered so much attention at this years SHOT show in January and that Phil Bourjaily called the most innovative new shotgun. This video shows how Kel Tec addressed concerns brought up by folks who got to handle the weapon at the trade show.
Most notably, the original 15-round-capacity (14 shells in two 7-round tubes, plus one in the chamber), 26.1 long shotgun had some problems with the trigger reset. If a shooter fired the weapon and kept the trigger depressed while cycling the pump, the trigger would not reset when released leaving the shooter with a chambered round and a dead trigger...

I shot that particular gun while visiting Oleg last fall. The recoil is not bad at all and the gun handles wonderfully. It’s on my list of wants!
Build it semi auto and use an 870 receiver to accept and feed the 12 gauge minis. Then you would have 30 round plus.
Very cool. Between that and a PMR-30 you’d be all set for zombie day.
Meh...for those that are familiar with Kel-Tec offerings should know not to expect much from this gun. I would wait at least a few years until the kinks are worked out but in the meantime look at a Remmy 870 or Moss 500, I you want some high capacity go with a Saiga with 25 round drum.
After 30 years looking for a High Standard 10-B I can wait a year or two. In the meantime, a Winchester 97 will have to fill in.

Only a grand and it can be yours!
In the meantime, a Winchester 97 will have to fill in.
I'm using a Mossberg 590 right now, but the Kel Tec is so tacticool...!
PMR-30
.22WMR 30 round mag
RFB .308
I prefer pump action. I can cycle the action about as fast as a semi and I don’t have to worry that a round might not be strong enough to operate the action.
If I can’t stop a bad guy with 14 rounds of 12 gauge, well... that’s what the belt feds are for. ;-)
Oops, sorry, I scanned the replies but I missed that you already posted a link to Nutnfancy.
He said it....Not me.
I guess my Winchester Model 12 is obsolete now :o(...
This gun shows the obvious handling marks of police service.
Right. Never cleaned or oiled since issue.
Many thanks. I'll watch this, but adding in $500 or more for a rehab makes the total package a bit steep. And, I just found a early '50s FN Supreme actioned rifle that's going to require a boatload to neaten up.
1) Adding a few pounds of lead to the end of the barrel is going to make a shotgun rather unwieldy, and:
2) $700 for what is essentially an extended magazine? Yipes!
Better get your order in fast. I am still waiting for the PMR 30 which I ordered in Oct and was recently told it will be about 3 more mos. Maybe the shotgun orders will fill more quickly.
Keltec (according to an email I just received from them) has 30 Wholesalers that they ship to. At present they are shipping 500 PMR 30’s per week so thats only about 16 weapons each. The back orders are huge. Impact told me I am 28 in line out of 280 backorders.
That shotgun is really cool though.
Kel-Tec halted PMR-30 production for a barrel redesign.
Zombie (or anybody’s) heads exploding bump.
