You believe libertarianism and Christianity are somehow in conflict?
How so please?
Hmm, now we have people trying to read between the lines. Kindly explain, in that case, where libertarianism has a moral base?
Ron Paul is a foreign policy dove, whose policy thereby would subvert the USA's sovereignty. His morality is highly questionable, and his social leanings are liberal. That also makes his fiscal and economic claims look suspect, since you need morality to back them up. The man plays both sides of the aisle far too much to be taken seriously. His stance on Israel leaves that country to its enemies (and our enemies).
The purpose of the quotes from the Founding Fathers is to show that they are quite far away from libertarian tenets, especially their more anarchistic ones that let immoral folk get a free pass.
