Getting her put together was actually an easy thing, I was impressed. She was the first one to arrive at church. Only one other of the kids had arrived by the time coolbreeze helped the pastor set up all the video/computer stuff and we were leaving. Of course that kid had to be the one that Jax wants nothing to do with and in her words “creeps” her out.
When I got back there 20 minutes later to bring what she had “forgot” I was happy to see a few other kids there, and the male chaperone. The Pastor had asked if coolbreeze could do it, but he’s on call this weekend and so couldn’t do it.
I hope they have a great evening. I picked up some of the youth-group gossip while I was waiting in our parking lot with Bill and Tom (and James and Vlad). Turns out a young man Anoreth once kind of liked, because he was as smart as her and also short, is dating a girl I taught in 5th grade. She’s taller than he is ... but very nice.
