Hi! I’m Jean Sasson, the author of GROWING UP BIN LADEN from where all this information is coming. HOWEVER, let me correct an error. Najwa was NOT older than Osama — She was a year younger — she was his first cousin and they knew each other from birth as the families got together every summer. Najwa was NOT a teacher (two of Osama’s wives were teachers, but not Najwa). She did not graduate from high school. Najwa and Osama were NOT divorced at the time of his death — they were still married although she had left him in 2001 prior to 9/11. Hope this clarifies.
