Dumb question but isn’t there a flag hanging in the classroom? I am not THAT old but I remeber a flag in the class. I’m 42.
The Orange Elementary Schools have applied for a Department of Education waiver allowing for district funds to be applied to costs associated with state mandated supplemental services for our low income students. The need for supplemental services to support our underperforming students is a requirement of the No Child Left Behind Act. The Orange Elementary Schools are dedicated to providing every child under our care with an equal opportunity to fulfill their academic potential.
Thus, they provide "every child with an equal opportunity" by providing some children with more opportunity?
Yes. Something is screwy here. The superintendent says that the American flag is up in every classroom. This may have been drawing a flag when he was supposed to be doing arithmatic or something else. We need to hear the teacher’s version.
