Birther conspiracies are not going to play a role in defeating Obama. Neither our candidates (serious ones), eventual nominee or the vast majority of conservative commentators and are going to touch this ridiculous nonsense with a 10 foot poll.
At this point the die hard birthers have descended to the level of craziness previously only occupied by truthers. This just goes to show that people on both the right and the left are equally predisposed to believe loony conspiracy theories - human nature I guess.

Fact: It is a simple matter for a natural born citizen to prove that he is a natural born citizen.

Fact: A **REAL** natural born American citizen would be HONORED to promptly prove with **all** of the **best** evidence that he was eligible to be president and Commander in Chief.
1. Other birth certificates from Hawaii with the "txe" typo on Dr. Alvin Onaka's signature stamp. Or, an explanation for why the typo was allowed to remain on a stamp used on government documents.
2. The Hawaii Department of Health reproducing the Obama birth document on their own. Now that Obama released this document to the public domain, Hawaii can't hide behind privacy anymore. They should be able to make this document available to anyone who pays the fee for it.
