I’m ambivalent about Romney (I’m a Herman Cain supporter), but I don’t hold the Mass. health care program against him. Our health care system does need to be fixed somehow. He tried something; it didn’t work. In private enterprise, you try something. If it works, great. If not, you tweak it or roll back to the previous system. The trouble is, government doesn’t roll back anything. I have no problem with someone trying something and recognizing that it didn’t work. (One of my questions about Romney is whether he recognized his health care reform program didn’t turn out to be a good thing or if he’s only saying it because that’s the way the conservative political wind is blowing.)
