Heh. Bog butter...
Sounds like something a soldier’d find in creases of his crotch after a couple weeks of training in the field during damp weather.

I’ve done that with canned salmon before — it’s a national brand, I forget the name, red label, and they didn’t used to put an expiry date on it, just a code number, and the reference table to get the date was on their website. Turned out it had been in my desk drawer for a long time, at work, and I needed to eat lunch. I think it was eight or nine years old, perfectly fine, just the flavor may have been less than it could have been. ;’)

Canned salmon can be sort of strong, so less flavor might have been an improvement, lol. I love fresh salmon and smoked salmon, but I just can’t get past the smell of canned salmon.
To: RegulatorCountry
I like it every which way. :’) Just a while ago I zapped a salmon patty in one of those microwave safe bags, came out perfect.

Do you pick the little vertebrae out or do you eat them?

I don’t eat bones. I know people who do...
