“Taco Bell did not release why the crunchy burrito will be removed . . .”
My guess would be Michelle Obama.
I can’t boycott them as I don’t patronize the place to begin with.

It’ll probably become Taco Bell’s McRib, habitually appearing and disappearing from the menu.

If it was so popular then they would have never discontinued it.
Personally, I can't stand anything from that dump.

I liked the cantina tacos (carnitas). They didn’t last long at all. Too much real meat I suppose.

Here in mexifornia, I like Taco Bell and that was one of the cheapest stuff you could buy on their menu. Just dont get rid of the mexican pizza, which is really good.

To: mgstarr
Hopefully they bring back the cheesy gordita crunch. The single greatest piece of fast food ever made.

Sometimes their food does not agree with me;I got sick a while back.I took a nap and woke up with horrible indigestion. The food wasn’t bad,it’s just that there was so much grease.I know this is really gross, but when I threw up,the remnants of the lettuce and the meat were separated because of the grease.

I miss their green chili sauce. For some reason a lot of the TB’s kept it behind the counter and you had to know to ask for it, but it was really good...comprable to a lot of homemeade salsa verdes.

My guess is the recent problem with Taco Bell’s using a “beef-like substance.”
They’re probably not allowed to use the “B” word in their marketing.

“Textured vegetable protein crunch burrito” didn’t do well in the focus groups.

I can think of a variety of possible reasons for this “decision” and any (or even all) may apply:
Beef prices continue to skyrocket (not that you get much of the reconstituted/dehydrated beef-like product on one of these atrocities they pawn off as food).
The Leftist/Fat-freaks (Michelle isn’t unique in this regard - Mike Huckabee is one of these as well) who feel they have the right to take food out of your mouth and dictate what you can and cannot buy (with your own hard-earned money) or consume.
Publicity stunt
Stupidity
And as I said - any possible combination of the above.
